Terms & Conditions
Sorry now for the boring bit...
but we have tried to keep it simple.
1. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost of any order is payable at the time of placing that order.
2. The balance is due within two weeks of the order being received by Love and Lace Bridal, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 7BH. All gowns must be taken and stored by the customer.
3. Our service is “made to order”, NOT “made to measure”. We measure each customer and order as close to body size as possible to avoid unnecessary alterations.
4. The client accepts responsibility for any weight loss or gain including pregnancy and the affects that this may have on the ability to alter the garment (extra charges may be incurred).
5. Whilst we are sympathetic if a wedding or event is cancelled for any reason, all items must be paid for in full and taken away. Orders CANNOT be cancelled.
6. All payments must be cleared by our bankers prior to the collection of any gowns and or accessories.
7. All prices quoted include VAT.
8. All sale items must be paid in full and taken at time of purchase. Strictly NO refunds or exchanges are given on sale items.
9. If the balance is not paid within the time scales stated above we will be forced to contact our legal team and steps will be made to recover the costs from a debt recovery service.
Alterations advice
1. All alterations are charged separately by the seamstress of your choice.
2. 1st fitting is advised to take place approximately 8 weeks before the event date.
3. The customer is responsible for booking an appointment for a fitting. Please apply in enough time to allow for an appointment to be available.
4. Final fit to be carried out up to 1 week before event date.
5. Whilst we can refer another seamstresses to you, Love & Lace Bridal cannot be held responsible for quality of work completed by these businesses. You should query any issues directly to the business used.
6. These time scales are just suggestions and each seamstress may request different time scales.
A copy of these terms & conditions will need to be signed prior to every order taken by Love & Lace Bridal. Every customer will also receive a copy of these terms & conditions at point of sale.
If the customer refuses to agree and sign to the above terms & conditions, their items will not be ordered by Love & Lace Bridal. Orders will not be placed until the full 50% deposit is received.

Cash is not accepted for payments over £100. You may pay us via BACS, Visa Debit, Visa, Master Card, in person or over the phone.
